The AM5 Contact & Sealing Frame by Thermal Grizzly is a precision-engineered upgrade for AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000G, and 9000 series processors (including X3D variants). Designed as a combination of a contact frame and CPU guard, it enhances socket pressure distribution and protects exposed components.

Key Features:

• Enhanced Contact Pressure:
  Replaces the default Socket Actuation Mechanism (SAM) on AM5 motherboards to ensure even pressure across the CPU heatspreader. This helps improve contact with socket pins and can reduce issues like memory detection errors.

• Protective Silicone Foam Inlay:
  An optional silicone foam inlay seals the gap between the CPU heatspreader and the frame, protecting exposed components from thermal paste or liquid metal. Use of the inlay is required with liquid metal, and optional with standard thermal paste.

• Precision Construction:
  Made from high-quality anodized aluminum with a milled inner contour for optimized pressure distribution and a secure fit.

• Easy Installation:
  The frame includes four mounting screws and features a marked orientation guide for correct alignment. Compatible with Thermal Grizzly AM5 backplates.
