The Intel LGA1851 V1 CPU Contact Frame by Thermal Grizzly is a high-precision mounting solution designed to replace the default Integrated Loading Mechanism (ILM) on Intel motherboards with the LGA1851 socket. This upgrade helps eliminate bending of the CPU’s Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS), ensuring improved contact between the cooler and CPU surface, which enhances thermal performance.

Key Features:

• Improved Thermal Transfer:
  Replacing the standard ILM with this contact frame reduces IHS deformation, enabling better contact with the CPU cooler and lowering processor temperatures. Users can expect reductions of up to 4°C (compared to RL-ILM) and up to 6°C (compared to standard ILM), depending on the CPU and cooler used.

• High-Quality Build:
  Made from durable, anodized aluminum to ensure long-term stability and optimal pressure distribution.

• Easy Installation:
  The contact frame is simple to install and comes with all necessary tools, including screws, a hex key, and a Torx T20 key. Please note that removal of the motherboard’s ILM is required.

• Compatibility:
  Compatible with Intel Core Ultra 200 series processors using the LGA1851 socket. Also supports CPUs with IHS surfaces sanded down by up to 0.2 mm. Extra caution is advised when installing on Mini-ITX boards to avoid interference with nearby components.
