🔧 Overview
Thermal Grizzly TG Putty is an electrically non-conductive, flexible thermal gap filler designed as an alternative to traditional thermal pads—ideal for GPU cooling modifications. It effectively compensates for surface height differences, making it a versatile solution when replacing pads on VRAM, VRM, or when installing custom GPU cooling solutions such as water blocks.
🌟 Key Features
-
🧱 Flexible & Formable: Fills gaps from 0.2 mm to 3.0 mm with ease. Can be shaped with included spatulas or by hand (gloves recommended).
-
💡 Thermal Pad Replacement: Designed specifically to replace factory thermal pads on graphics cards.
-
🔌 Electrically Non-Conductive: Safe for use on sensitive components like VRAM, VRM, and SMDs.
-
🖌️ Easy Application: Comes with 3 spatulas for smooth, large-area or detailed application.
-
🖥️ GPU Optimized:
-
One 30g container is generally sufficient for smaller GPUs (e.g., GTX 1060) or the front side of larger GPUs (e.g., RTX 4090).
-
Two containers may be needed to cover both the front and backplate gaps of high-end GPUs.
-
🚫 Usage Notes
-
Not suitable for use on CPU IHS or Direct Die GPU applications.
-
Always clean and degrease surfaces before applying (e.g., with TG Cleaning Wipes or isopropyl alcohol).
🔬 Variants Available
-
TG Putty Basic: Offers medium thermal conductivity, suitable for standard GPU cooling needs.
-
TG Putty Advance: Provides high (improved) thermal conductivity for enhanced thermal performance.
-
TG Putty Pro: Delivers maximum thermal conductivity, ideal for demanding cooling applications.
